ACP123(B) Published

After thirteen year, ACP 123, “Common Messaging Strategy and Procedures", has been updated to Edition B. ACP123(B), dated May 2009, is now the effective standard for CCEB Nations, replacing ACP123(A) dated August 1997.

ACP 123 is the CCEB equivalent of NATO defined STANAG 4406 Edition 2 and both define the formal messaging X.400 content type P772. ACP 123(B) has adopted both Annex B, "Interoperability of Secure MMHS" and Annex E, "Tactical Messaging Protocol and Profile" from STANAG 4406 Ed 2, and even adopts the same Annex names.
