Isode announce addition of new product, M-Link Edge, to R14.6 release
Isode, the developers of high performance messaging and directory service software, have announced that they will be adding a new product,
M-Link Edge, to their R14.6 which is scheduled for release in March 2010.
The M-Link Edge is described in the white paper “XMPP Boundary and Cross Domain Protection” released in October 2009 and will provide boundary checking for XMPP services which, when used on its own, will provide boundary checking capabilities including security label checking, security label transformation and presence folding.
Alternatively, when used in conjunction with a high assurance guard such as Sybard from QinetiQ, the M-Link Edge enables the guard to provide checking without needing to handle the details of general XMPP protocol handling and distributed operation due to its key ability to marshal XMPP traffic in and out of the guard.
