Canadian MMHS adopts Web-based Solution
Telos have announced that they have been awarded a three year contract to provide the Canadian DND with a formal messaging solution.
The XACTA Automated Message Handling System (AMHS), which has already being adopted by DISA within the US DMS programme, will provide a centralized, web-based solution.
The Web-based client approach offers benefits in both simpified configuration and systems management, as well as providing access to formal messaging from any web-enabled device.
This solution is believed to be replacing the General Dynamic Decision Systems (formally Motorola) approach, which provided an enhanced Outlook client, though some of the backbone/border components may be reused.
