Directory Schema XML Schema
A schema was developed to encompass all the elements of X.500 and LDAP directory schema, and provide a schema that would allow editing with even the most basic of XML editors.
The schema includes support for:
- object class sub-classing
- attribute type sub-typing
- syntaxes
- name forms
- matching rules
- content rules
- sources
The schema enures that all attributes within the schema are uniquely named (by both OID and string) and that all the attributes with an object class are known.
