Wireshark Direct Message Protocol Support
Wireshark now supports the dissection of the Direct Messaging Protocol (DMP).
DMP is a STANAG 4406 interoperable, MTA to MTA protocol that allows the exchange of messages within the strategic domain. It is significantly more bandwith efficient than Tactical Messaging Interfaces (TMI) defined Annex E of STANAG 4406, but at the expense of functionality. Further details of the protocol can be obtained from the MMHWG Archive (login required).

Support for DMP is now available in the Wireshark development tree (SVN revision 20133), and will be included in the next Wireshark release (0.99.6?).
