Boldon James Introduce "Classify" Competitor
Boldon James have introduced SAFEsend, a Microsoft Outlook plug-in that allows the consistent marking of e-mail messages. The marking, or security label, is chosen from a set of configured text strings, and can be applied to either message subject or first line of text.
As such, it competes directly with the Classify for Outlook, from Mark Wilson Software. Classify is deployed in a large number of secure messaging systems worldwide.
SAFEsend has an advantage over Classify, in that it can also perform an access control check of the message recipients. This ensures that the recipients are allowed to receive messages marked with the security label chosen by the originator.
